Overview

Since we completed our acquisition of SP+ on May 16, we’ve been blown away by the enthusiasm to upgrade to Metropolis technology. As of August 1, 2024, we’ve upgraded 280 locations, representing 41,000 spaces. We welcomed 13,400 new Metropolis members per day in July, and our network of locations now serves over 7.6M people nationwide.

Technical and operational improvements cut deployment time to 2-3 weeks from 4 weeks

We’ve made significant technical investments to automate most of the processes our launch team used to do manually. These range from automatically ordering hardware from our warehouses based on the results of our digitized surveys, to streamlined onboarding for thousands of tenants.

In addition to these improvements, our combined operational scale and technical improvements have enabled us to 5x the number of sites we can deploy in a month. The team is enthusiastic to leverage Metropolis’ cutting-edge technology to improve asset performance.

Of the 280 locations we’ve recently upgraded, Harbor Point Baltimore, a 27-acre waterfront neighborhood with 3 million square feet of office, retail, residential, and hotel space is one of the deployments we’re most proud of.
